Emergency Appointments

The practice has duty doctor and emergency appointments available every weekday. If you need to be seen urgently, please call the reception team on 020 7275 0077. You will be directed to either the GPs or the nurse as appropriate. Please note that for emergency appointments, a doctor will decide whether your circumstances constitutes an emergency using their clinical judgement. If this is the case, you will be seen during that session. Please note that if your condition/circumstances is deemed not to be an emergency, you will need to make an appointment.

Duty doctor service (during opening hours)

To make it easier for you to get the right help when you need it urgently, we are offering a duty doctor service at the practice. The service is available Monday to Friday (excluding weekends and bank holidays) between the hours of 08:00 and 18:30.

If you need urgent medical advice for you or someone you care for, please call the practice on 020 7275 0077. Please explain to the reception that you have an urgent problem and they will arrange for the duty doctor to call you back within 2 hours.

The doctor may:

- Give you advice straight away over the phone
- Arrange for you to come into the practice to see a doctor or nurse or other member of staff
- Arrange for a home visit if you are not well enough to come to the surgery and the doctor thinks you need to be seen
- Direct you towards other services which can help

This service offers you quick access to your GP practice, where we have your full medical records. We recommend this service instead of going to A&E.

Out of hours (weekends and night cover)

If you have an urgent medical situation outside of the practice opening hours, please call NHS 111, free, by dialling 111. You can also access NHS 111 online, by visiting 111.nhs.uk. Alternatively, you can call us on 020 7275 0077 and you will be given spoken directions on how to contact NHS 111.
